1. General Information

This Shipping Policy governs all orders placed through EthanMakesArt. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Order Processing Time

All orders are subject to a processing period of 1 to 3 business days from the date payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing on the next business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

EthanMakesArt reserves the right to extend processing times during periods of high order volume, promotional events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Processing time is separate from and in addition to shipping transit time.

3. Shipping Transit Time

Once an order has been processed and dispatched, the estimated delivery window is 13 to 20 business days. This estimate begins on the date the shipping confirmation email is sent to the customer. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Transit times are estimates provided by third-party carriers and may be affected by factors outside EthanMakesArt's control, including but not limited to carrier delays, customs processing, weather events, national emergencies, postal disruptions, or increased shipping volumes. EthanMakesArt assumes no liability for delays caused by third-party logistics providers or any force majeure event.

Shipping delays, regardless of duration or cause, do not entitle the customer to a refund, order cancellation, or any form of compensation.

4. Manufacturing Disclosure

Due to high demand, products that were previously crafted by hand (handmade) are now manufactured in industrial facilities. By disclosing this transition in these terms and conditions, EthanMakesArt is not responsible for claims based on expectations of handmade or artisan products. The customer, by completing a purchase, expressly accepts and acknowledges this condition.

5. Shipping Destinations

EthanMakesArt ships to addresses within the United States. We do not guarantee shipping to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses; any order placed to such addresses is shipped at the customer's sole risk, and EthanMakesArt accepts no liability for non-delivery to these address types.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs, if any, are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to payment confirmation. The original shipping fee paid at checkout is non-refundable under any circumstances, including returns, refusals, or partial cancellations.

7. Order Cancellation Policy

Once an order has been submitted and payment confirmed, it enters our processing queue immediately. Orders may only be canceled within 12 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet been dispatched. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ethanhandmades@gmail.com within that window.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled under any circumstances. The customer must wait to receive the item and, if eligible, initiate a return in accordance with our Return Policy.

8. Order Tracking

A shipping confirmation email containing tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once the order has been dispatched. It may take up to 5 business days for tracking information to reflect updated carrier activity after the confirmation email is sent.

EthanMakesArt is not responsible for inaccurate or delayed tracking updates provided by third-party carriers.

9. Delivery Failures, Refused Shipments, and Undeliverable Packages

The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of purchase. EthanMakesArt is not liable for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. No refund will be issued in such cases.

If a package is returned to sender due to an undeliverable address, a refused delivery, or failure to collect from a carrier facility within the required timeframe, the customer will be responsible for all reshipping costs. If the customer elects not to have the order reshipped, a partial refund may be considered at EthanMakesArt's sole discretion, minus original shipping costs and any return shipping fees incurred.

10. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier — defined as no carrier-confirmed movement for 30 consecutive calendar days after the last tracked scan — the customer must notify EthanMakesArt at ethanhandmades@gmail.com within 10 business days of that 30-day period elapsing. Claims submitted outside this window will not be honored.

If a package arrives visibly damaged, the customer must document the damage with photographs at the time of delivery, prior to opening, and submit them to ethanhandmades@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to report within this window forfeits all claims related to shipping damage.

Resolution of lost or damaged shipment claims is subject to carrier investigation and is at EthanMakesArt's sole discretion.

11. Returns and Refunds — Shipping Policy Scope

Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy. However, as it relates to shipping:

  • Original shipping charges are never refundable.

  • All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Items must be returned in their original, unopened condition with all seals, packaging, and protective materials intact and unaltered.

  • Refunds, if approved, will only be issued after the returned item has been received and undergoes complete inspection by EthanMakesArt, which may take up to 10 business days from receipt.

  • The 90-day guarantee period begins on the date of confirmed delivery as recorded by the carrier's tracking system.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EthanMakesArt's total liability arising from or related to shipping, delivery, or logistics shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the customer for the specific item in dispute. EthanMakesArt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from shipping delays, non-delivery, or carrier errors.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable federal or state consumer protection law.

13. Governing Law

This Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal law and the laws of the state in which EthanMakesArt operates.

14. Policy Updates

EthanMakesArt reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the website or placement of an order after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
